Thank God!...it was just a dream yet sometimes when the news reports these disasters where people lose everything...that too, seems like a dream and just too surreal to be true.
I've always been fascinated by folklore and ancient iconography. I've always loved Celtic and Nordic stories of enchanted nature full of life when people aren't around.
A historic tour in a small town added plenty of pictures to my house collection. In the 18th century, they sure loved our Victorian homes and decor. I can understand why. The "gentleman ghost" in this image was an actor for Dickens on the Strand...from another shoot where the townsfolk love the Victorian era.
These actors really spend a lot of time and attention to authenticity. This actress really does look like she belongs in the era.
This past July 4th I didn't plan my site well so the fireworks were too far away. There was a big crowd that turned out so I photographed the crowd and then layered in last year's firework photos.
